Question for the Readers
I’ve got another site that I’ve been slowly getting into shape focused on my social media (versus traditional marketing) activities. It’s called Squarevox.
Now, social media and marketing are not mutually exclusive, though they’re not the same thing, so you’ll notice that there is duplicate content (as in, blog posts) on the two sites. A certain amount of what I write is appropriate for both sites; non-social-media marketing stuff just goes here, and social media content that’s not really about marketing would only go there.
Here’s my question: is this annoying to readers? If you follow both sites (and I hope you will, if your interests cover both), is it annoying to see the same blog post on both? Should I just pick one for each item and just post a note with a link on the other? Or is it easier to just have everything turning up in whichever sites and feeds make sense?
It’s all about making the content useful and accessible for you, so I would love your thoughts on it.
