This just in: Digital Vertical Marketing launches
One of the original Opinionated Marketers, and my very good friend and colleague, Sean Branagan, has just launched a new company. Digital Vertical Marketing provides search, social media, and branding services for B2B companies (primarily in tech).
What’s unique about Digital Vertical’s approach is their focus on a select set of vertical markets where they can combine their search and social media expertise with insider knowledge from “industry mavens”. Don’t expect inflated and bogus search “results” from Digital Vertical. And no silly spam. There’ll be none of those ‘hey, nice blog, you can find shoes for people with two-left feet at www.twoleftfeet.shoe…’ comments on blogs.
Sean really knows his search and social media stuff inside out, and is also a natural brander. (And I’m not just saying this because Sean’s a friend and someone I work with regularly. Sure, that helps, but he’s really good, and he’s onto something here. And, if you see the Digital Vertical press release, do not be alarmed by the reference to ‘a new world order emerging in search marketing.’ I assure you that this outfit has nothing whatsoever to do with apocalyptic New World Order conspiracy theorists.)
Sean is partnering with Scott Matukas in this venture. And I have just three words to say about Scott: Red Sox fan. ‘Nuf said, as they say around Fenway and/or when the Dropkick Murphys are performing Tessie, one of their Red Sox anthems.
Good luck to Sean, Scott, and Digital Vertical Marketing.
This opinionated marketer will be watching.

There’s something funky happening with links here. The URL for Digital Vertical is www.digitalvertical.com but for some reason I can’t insert a hyperlink….
